Someone Very Close in My Life Needs a Miracle

First and foremost, please understand I normally would not include a page like this one on the site, but after further consideration, I finally decided to "Let Go and let God" as the saying goes.

Why you may ask?  Because someone very close to me has been suffering for quite a considerable amount of time now with rheumatoid arthritis.  And my prayers - as well as her own and those of family members and friends - just don't seem to be "cutting it."  I know, that I know, that I know that God wants to heal her.  I can't say why I know that, I just know.

But maybe, just maybe, God wants me to "put it all out there" first and let others know about her condition so that maybe, just maybe, others can be blessed as well by praying for her, so that they can be uplifted in their hearts, in their spirits, yes, even in their souls.  How?  By simply extending and offering their prayers and/or best wishes for her healing.

Do I even know what I'm talking about?  Sometimes I wonder.  Yet, at the end of the day, I'm willing to put my faith - my sincerest hope - in the hands of those faithful in the Lord Jesus Christ and ask them to please take just a moment to pray for her at her time of need.

Actually, why limit it to just those "faithful in the Lord?  After all, my best friend is not Christian.  And yet, he's awesome.  One of the nicest, kindest and sincerest people I've ever met in my life.  I respect and appreciate his deep-seated faith and the life path he walks.

Do I ever pretend to know all the answers?  I'll admit, sometimes, I sure act like I do!  But you know what that's called?  Pride.  Pure and simple pride.

I myself believe in God's healing power, in both His ability as well as His desire.  Does it always happen?  Obviously, not the way we would hope sometimes.  And while, yes, I fully realize we may never find out in any certainty why that is while we're alive here on earth, I am certain that this is something we'll find out once we get to Heaven.

🔥  1 Peter 5:10 (ESV) 🔥
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

When all else fails - sometimes, admittedly, only when all else fails - I reach out to God.  I reach out to Him when I feel helpless...when I feel hopeless...when I feel like I've got no where else to turn.  Basically like what I'm doing right now in this moment.

Whoever you are - wherever you are - if you wouldn't mind, would you mind a short prayer for her?  Or even just a kind thought if you're more comfortable with that?

God knows her name.  He knows who she is.  He knows what she means to me.

Thank you.  And I pray may God Bless You/Yours.
